Our Strategy
Our vision is outworked through everything that we do. We recognise that we cannot stay the same and need to be continually ensuring that we are relevant to the culture we live in.
Through community consultation we have identified the following areas as important to the local community in which we work.
Youth and Childrens Work
This is addressed through a friday night kids club and youth group as well as a mid week carers and toddlers group.
Local Community Issues
We have initiated a Churchill Gate residents association
to work alongside residents to create a healthy environment in which to live. Regular litter picks, community BBQ's and monthly resident updates all contribute in ensuring we are meeting the real issues facing our local community.
Relational
We seek to encourage people to explore Christianity through courses such as Alpha, and are looking to start marriage and parenting courses to help people in these important areas of their lives. Stronger Lives our sunday evening programme, is all about ensuring our relationships as a Church community are healthy.
Spirituality
Most importantly we address people's spiritual needs through seeking to introduce them to Jesus Christ. This is predominantly accomplished through relationships and through creating sunday morning services that are relevant, engaging and creative which leave people feeling uplifted, encouraged and full of hope. We also hold special events that seek to inspire and encourage people and relate to people where they are at.
