ACCOUNTING POLICY:

The Church Council is responsible for ensuring proper accounting records are maintained so that they disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time, the financial position of the Church and to enable them to ensure that the accounts comply with the constitution. They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the Church and hence for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities.

The Church Council has determined that a statement of receipts and payments should be prepared and within the statement of assets and liabilities a revaluation of assets should be provided for on a straight-line basis over the expected life of the assets concerned.

If you are a church member and would like to see a copy of our financial position as explained at the AGM on Wednesday 4th July 2007, please speak to Dave Halls.
